Introduction:

• For preparing 38 mm dia Soil Specimen.
• Undisturbed samples of soil at different depths can be collected using these sampling tubes.
• The kit includes all necessary implements for boring, collection and sealing with wax.
• The operation may be carried out either using a tripod stand or without it.
• The equipment is supplied in a canvas carrying bag.

General Description and Specifications: The outfit comprises:

• Sample Extractor, Screw type with a wire sample Trimmer.
• Split Mould, 38 mm dia x 76 mm long.
• Split mould, 38 mm dia x 88 mm long (in two parts) can be fitted to the screw type extractor enabling salt specimens to be prepared ready for unconfined compression test.
• They are fitted with quick release system.
• Sampling Tube 38 mm dia x 150 mm long.
• Sampling Tube 38 mm dia x 200 mm long.
• Jarring link for driving the Sampling Tube.
• Adaptor with locking screw for fitting the sampling tube to jarring link.
