VAPOUR ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION CYCLE:

 

A) RANGE OF EXPERIMENTS:

  • To study all components used in vapor absorption cycle.
  • To study the working of the Vapour Absorption cycle.
  • To find out Refrigeration effect, Heat input, Actual COP, Ton of Refrigeration, Plant efficiency.

 

B) SPECIFICATION:

  • Generator with electric heating system and properly insulated and covered with aluminum sheet. Automatic pressure release valve and thermostat.
  • Analyzer & a rectifier.
  • Condenser for condensing ammonia vapors in to liquid Ammonia with pressure release valve.
  • Throttling device for liquid Ammonia.
  • Evaporator with insulation & covered with powder coated aluminum sheet & having volume of 10 liters.
  • Solution pumps for pumping Ammonia- Water solution from absorber to Generator.
  • Pressure reducing valve in return solution line from generator to absorber.
  • Solution and refrigerant piping for connection all components.
  • Voltage stabilizer suitable Capacity for giving power output at 230 volts ± 5%.
  • Digital temperature indicator for measurement of temp at various points likes.

    • Absorber.
    • Cooling water inlet & outlet to Absorber, Condenser.
  • Combine Digital Voltmeter Ammeter: 1 No, 
  • Mounting frame complete equipment made out of M S channel /angle of 1 mtr height powder coated.
  • Display boards measuring 3 x 2 ft. wall mounted type depicting the schematic diagram, details of equipment.

 

C) SERVICE REQUIRED:

  • Single phase 230 V AC, 5 Amp supply.
  • Space required: floor space 1 mtr x 0.5 mtr.
